Getting together for lunch with friends is always a good thing, right? I visited Saskatoon last week and meeting friends for a leisurely lunch is a much anticipated and welcome item on the itinerary.
D’Lish by Tish is located in the former Pacific Gallery space and the transformation is fantastic! An efficient counter to place your order is located in the entry. The menu offers a choice of two home made soups each day and a variety of sandwiches. The espresso and coffee bar is eager to fulfill the order. My latte arrived in short order and was delivered with a smile right to the table.
The short line-up quickly moved along and we found a comfortable table in the corner. There was a choice of bench seating and chairs and our group quickly made themselves at home. Conversation was flowing all around us, other customers engaged with friends, their computers and various electronic devices.
What stood out most for me was the amazing offering of desserts…
Prices are reasonable, portions generous and tasty! The reviews around our table was very positive. The green curry lentil soup was devoured by most, for the sensitive palate it was considered a bit too spicy…
We arrived as a group around 11:30 am and stayed till 1:30 pm. The restaurant was busy but at no time was there a need to move and vacate the table for waiting customers. Waiting times were also reasonable.
I give this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars. My Pacific Bagel was fresh and arrived in good time. Before I increase my stars I need to visit again and try something more.
