…just the place to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon with on again, off again rain showers!
Joseph Schneider Haus in Kitchener, ON dates back to the early 19th century when Kitchener went by its original name, Berlin.
Previous visits were quilt history related, this time I had the privilege to visit the 2016 Folk Artist in Residence exhibition ANIMA ÜRBEM by photographer James Anthony Usas. Here is a link to more details about the artist and the exhibition. The show is on till June 26th, and if you are in the Kitchener-Waterloo area make time to stop to support this historic landmark.
Free parking is conveniently located just across the street (Queen Street), a short walk down the lane past some lush plants…
Why not slow down to smell the roses and support your local historic site this summer?
